Superior faculty compared to other EMBA programs in the area. School schedule and structure works well with my work schedule. USC EMBA program office minimizes the time we need to spend on logistics, with great staff. --Product Development
The curriculum is very current. The administrative staff are extremely customer oriented and helpful. The faculty are available and responsive. They listen to student input and strive to continuously improve the program. --Operations
USC provides a great education, real world projects, alumni networks and coordinating the class mix, which allowed for great discussions and pairings. --Strategy
Very good program, lots of great projects, conveniently located, good faculty, great mix of students. --Marketing
The quality of the individuals in the class was exceptional. The interaction with those individuals was a major reason for my satisfaction with the program. USC creates an atmosphere that is very team based and supports the concept of networking. During the program I was given access to high level individuals in major newsmaking corporations and learned from them as well. The professors were very focused on being available and were good instructors with relevant information. --Manufacturing
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] They were, with rare exception, excellent in communicating material and in incorporating and engaging the knowledge and experiences of the class members. --Law
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] Strengths: Years of teaching experience. Able to offer insights to a very knowledgeable and seasoned student body. Weaknesses: Lack of time to go deeply into curriculum, a common malady of all EMBA professors. --Engineering Management
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] The instructors are very current with the current business environment and several act as consultants with major companies. This allows them to relate theory with real world applications and current business trends. --Operations
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] The professors that were good remembered that we were experienced executives. The professors who forgot we were experienced executives tended to be the least liked because they got too caught up in micro managing the classes. --Operations
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] Many of our instructors literally "wrote the book" on the subject that they taught. They clearly brought incredible expertise to the classroom. As a whole, they were also very approachable, down to earth, and understanding of the unique challenges EMBA students face. One weakness was the occasional overload of reading material in preparation for a class. If you weren't able to devote time to reading all of it, you might feel that you were failing, when in reality it was impossible to find time to look at all of it. --Human Resources
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] The instructors were very engaging and comfortable with the executive students. --Marketing
[Improvements?] More outside speakers going through the content and how it pertained to their companies. --Strategy
[Improvements?] More emphasis on interpersonal-management skills would be helpful. Improvement of the marketing curriculum and faculty would make the program stronger. --Human Resources
[Improvements?] Try out new instructors and curriculums on other MBA programs before using them on the EMBA's. My time is expensive. --Marketing
[Improvements?] Although my classmates were strong, I do believe that the caliber of students could be improved. I expected to meet more executives with significant responsibility in major corporations than I did. --Human Resources
[Company support?] My company supported me 100%. I couldn't have asked for more. --Manufacturing
[Improvements?] Less students so more interaction during the class discussion could happen. --Information Systems
